I actually went through the process more than just the four times I mentioned, but the same thing happened every time. I have to exit Kaspersky anti-virus to play my game, and I was pretty sure I had done so before I started playing the first part of the day, which I had had to quit before the day's end, but just in case I had missed doing so and the save was corrupted, I returned to the previous save from the day before and reset. So I started again, played to the end of the day again, saved the game, then reset, and once again, it got stuck processing. So I started from the last save, played to the end of the day again and reset again. I wasn't too concerned as things like that sometimes happen for on a one time basis. I had to use the task manager to close the game. Last night it was time for my sim-weekly town reset, but it got stuck on endless processing. On another note, I've just had some issues with resetting everything myself. I did refer her to the document on this site about improving game performance.

Plus she always stretches the household limit in a big way, not to mention doing everything possible to promote multiple births from every pregnancy.
